Test Results

Results for most tests can take up to three working days or longer to be processed and reviewed.

If the results of your lab tests are abnormal or require further treatment we will contact you by phone, email or text to let you know about the next steps.

Please ensure we have your up to date contact details.

Histology and cervical screening samples generally take longer to be processed. If you haven’t heard from us within 2-3 weeks of your sample being taken, please contact the surgery.

If the results of your tests are normal we do not routinely contact you however, you can have normal results and still feel unwell so it is important that you re-attend if your symptoms continue or worsen.

You can view your test results on the My Indici patient portal once they have been reviewed by a clinician at the practice.

If your results are normal and you wish to discuss them further, please book an appointment with your practitioner or one of our nursing team.  This can be done as a phone call and may incur an additional fee.
